The success of our Summer Roundup at Solomon Pond Mall has prompted discussions over the last several months between myself and our hosts at Simon Properties.

I am happy to report that we will be doing an experimental Saturday Night Cruise at Auburn Mall during the month of August.

As I said, this is a trial run. If successful it may extend into September. After that, it could be a regular feature from May to September, 2011.

Details below:

Saturday Night Cruise At Auburn Mall

August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 2010 - 4 to 8 p.m.

385 Southbridge Street Auburn, MA 01501
In the parking lot at Macy’s Home Store at the corner of Swanson Road and Auburn Street in Auburn, MA.

Entry fee of a small donation to the Simon Youth Foundation is suggested but not required.
All performance, classic cars, and Motorcycles welcome!

Trophies awarded for Best Car and Bike of the night!

Music provided by TiP (TiP is my son Tom and his iPod)

Food and beverages available inside at the Food Court.

50/50 RAFFLE to benefit Simon Youth Foundation.

Sponsored by Simon Malls and MCCNE

I have printed up flyers to hand out a the Summer Roundup and will post it up on the Blog after Sunday's show.

To quote fellow Board Member, Jack Murphy,

"We often hear folks looking for alternative ideas to the five shows MCCNE
puts on each year, i.e. fun runs and cruises, etc. I feel that the idea of a
weekly Saturday night cruise is a perfect idea for a fun and relaxing
evening spent with fellow car nuts. Carl and I have been making the rounds
to some of the different cruises in the central Mass area and have found
them to be quite enjoyable.

With that being said all we really need from each of you is your support by
attending. To get the thing rolling what we really need are people and cars.

Let's all try to make this a success by just trying to show up!"

I hope some of you can make it to at least the first cruise on August 7th.

Number of cars and bikes = success!

Thanks,

Carl
