2010 All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA

All-Ford Nationals
June 4-6, 2010
Carlisle, PA

For anyone who is interested and plans on attending the 2010 All-Ford Nationals, on June 3rd (Thursday), there will be a "cruise out" to Carlisle, PA.  More to come, but pre-registration is already available at <http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/ford-nationals/>.  By cruising out together, if someone has a problem on the way out, there will be many hands to help.  Plus, multiple Mustangs (and other Fords welcome) look and sound really good convoying together!

Tentative "meet up" areas include:
#1: Rest Area on I-91S just below where I-91 and I-89 meet (White River Jct., VT/Lebanon, NH area)
#2: Exit 3 off of I-91S in VT
#3: Exit 28 off of I-84 in Southington, CT
#4: Somewhere around Scranton, PA (maybe exit 178 or 175 off I-81S?)

If others would like to join, please let me know and we can arrange a meeting area along that general route.  So far, despite being how early it is, we have a solid 4-5 going out together.  Last year, John of TripleWhiteFox.com and I made the trip out together and had a lot of fun and met up with other Mustangs along the way.

Something also to consider:
On Friday June 4th, CJ Pony Parts is sponsoring a cruise that travels the back roads of PA, leaving from their Harrisburg location.  Although it doesn't end at Carlisle Fairgrounds, several of us will be leaving for the fairgrounds immediately after the cruise.  No registration is required for this event, so just show up!  Usually there are 100+ Mustangs on this cruise.

Any questions or ideas, please contact me or post a reply!

This is about a third of last year!

2nd Annual PMA Spring Car Show

The New England District of the Precision Metalforming Association is hosting it’s 2nd Annual Spring Car Show to benefit the American Diabetes Association. All proceeds will be donated in memory of Rich Morse, owner of RPM Speed in Attleboro, MA who died suddenly at his shop in July 2009. Rich was an avid supporter of the hot rod hobby in the area and helped make our first car show a huge success.

Like last year, cars entered into the show will be asked merely for a donation. Dash plaques will be given out to entrants and a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize trophies will be awarded. Winners for Best of Show will be chosen by our illustrious panel of judges (the PMA Board members).

Our goal is to make this show as eclectic as possible. Last year we had a great showing of hot rods and muscle cars, as well as antique, foreign and specialty cars. It was a great, laid-back event and we had nothing but compliments for our efforts. This year we’d like to see car clubs come out in force. Let us know you’re coming and we can reserve a space for your group.

Show date is May 22, 2010 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the parking lot of Larson Tool and Stamping Co. 90 Olive St. Attleboro, MA. The salt and sand will be long-gone from the pavement. It’ll be time to dust off your ride and cruise it down to Attleboro!

Mark's Auto Parts Cruise Night - Granby, CT

Hello All!

Does anyone attend the Mark's Auto Parts Cruise Nights Monday nights starting in May?

http://www.markscruisenight.com/

I've been going for years, but never brought my car since I work in Hartford and typically stop on my way home.  I'm planning to bring it for the first time ever this year.  This particular cruise night is a great time and there are typically 500-800 cars every Monday!!!
